My name is Rachel Knoester, I started dishlickers design because I know just how difficult it is to find pet accessories for your dog that have as much personality as they do and as much style as you do! 

I created the 'flea taxi' range of designer dog collars and dog bedding, to provide good quality fashion products for dog lovers. The products I make are all neccessities for dogs...but I believe you can have fun with these essential items...They can be PRACTICAL, FUNCTIONAL & FUN!

My love for dogs goes back to 'Sally' who my family rescued as a puppy when I was 3 and I have had a dog in my life ever since.  

As I grew up I followed my passion for fashion and design, and was drawn to the clothing industry from an early age. For many years I worked in the design & manufacturing field and later as a buyer when I moved into the Homewares area.

As a dog lover, over the years I have often wondered why it was that I could never find anything nearly as fun and fashionable for my dog as I could for myself or the rest of my home and family.

  
Now, I have finally found a way to combine my design & manufacturing experience and my love for dogs, by helping to fulfill the needs of dog owners who like me are looking for products that reflect their dog's personality while being fun & fashionable.

The designer dog beds from flea taxi are the perfect spot for a comfy snooze...They are so soft, you might even find that you make a little bit more room on the couch for the rest of the family! Secondly, they are fun and distinctive, designed to actually look good in your home. These beds don't need to be hidden when guests arrive!

All the 100% cotton duvet covers can be easily removed for washing...to keep any ‘doggie smells' at bay. But the real innovation is in the Medium and Large size beds...Traditionally it has been very hard to clean the whole bed. These beds may look like a single comfy cushion, however inside are hidden internal tunnels with 3 cushions held firmly together...This means that each cushion can be easily cleaned in your washing machine. You can also buy extra duvet covers, so changing and washing the bed cover is even more convenient...just like all the other beds in the house!
